Waccamaw Forge was founded in 2016, in the Low Country of South Carolina by 2 Founding members, Ed “Curly” Lawson and Patrick Walters. We are located in Socastee, SC situated by the Waccamaw River. The Waccamaw stretches from Columbus County, North Carolina down to Georgetown, South Carolina and into Winyah Bay, passing thru Socastee in Horry County on the way, it has been an important commercial route since the 18th century.
We forge custom hand crafted items we like to think of as functional art, from trinkets to be worn daily to tools and equipment needed for everyday life.
